Christmas fair

Had a good time today at the Christmas-light-switching-on-fair here - this year, they closed off half the High Street, which is a major undertaking around here, given the really screwy traffic patterns.

Spent awhile talking to a couple of hobby jewellers who had stalls, very nice ladies, and got a couple of ideas I'll have to try out, as well as some Christmas presents (the first this year, earlier than usual, too - go me).

A few makings for my own use as well, of course, including a nice pewter Celtic Cross pendant I want to colourise & varnish. Probably needs a new chain, though, the one she gave me for it is much more suited to something lighter and more delicate. I'll most likely make a braided leather thong for it instead.
