Microreview - Wannaburger, Edinburgh

mirrorshardVery good food (nice rare beefburger, good strong Roquefort, milkshake made with Mackie's ice cream), but very rude service. I may have been dining on my own and had brought a book to read while waiting for my food to arrive, but that's no excuse to bring me the bill without asking, especially since there were several empty tables.
The bill was presented with a shot glass of M&Ms, which I didn't touch; very pretty, but really, really not what I wanted after a strong-flavoured meal and a very creamy milkshake. The traditional mints would have gone down well, though.

I used to help Ms Mackie (daughter of Mr Mackie) when she was doing her PHD. I used to analyse her soil samples.
