Turns out that over here, I can either order the US hardback at absurd prices, or wait till September for the paperback.

I'll wait, I suspect... especially since I just got Neal Stephenson's latest, The Confusion, sequel to Quicksilver - which was disappointing, and Confusion is probably an apt title for the sequel, but he's earned enough respect already to go on my must-have list without question.
