Developments at York
Jun. 29th, 2009 09:52 pmI'm looking at a map of my old university campus, and I really can remember when all that was fields. The fields I used to walk home through are now a science park, and they're expanding the campus itself massively.
And in the process, they're doing archaeology - thoroughly, of course, since York's archaeology department is one of the best there is. They've found an extensive farming landscape, high status Roman relics, and a two thousand year old brain.
That is so incredibly cool.
