Jerry White at the Museum in Docklands
Jul. 4th, 2007 05:40 pmShort notice, but on Saturday - 7th July, that is - Jerry White, author of London in the Nineteenth Century, will be talking at the Museum in Docklands.
It's an OU open day about literature, history, and creative writing - the full flyer is here [pdf]. Some of the other things sound rather interesting, but the opportunity to hear Jerry White talk about the relationship between Londoners and the police looks like the real prize.
The main entrance is very close to Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line, or West India Quay on the DLR, and the event's on from 10am till 4pm. Here's a map.
Anyone else interested, and want to meet up there?
