Burton, Depp, and Elfman. It's amazing how neatly they fit into the traditional trinity.
It was a very good adaptation indeed - I can't think of a single thing I found wrong with it, unless we're going to descend to the level of the incongruous Americans in the sweet shop.
It's all I expected it to be, and it's the strength of my response to things like this that makes me glad I only bother seeing things I expect to be really good.
Good company helps also, of course.
