Things of interest

• dyeing fibre with precious metal nanoparticles. This is basically the exact same process used in glassmaking, and I look forward to seeing catwalk models wearing canary wool.
  
• Found via the slushpile of Jamendo, White Owl. Russian fusion folk-core. That's an entire CC-licensed album, and includes covers of 'Lord of the Dance', 'Fifteen Men on a Dead Man's Chest', and 'The Rising of the Moon'.
  
• Best piece of spam I had recently - an offer of 37% off a model of the Holy Temple, from Israel-Catalog.com. And there was me thinking Jewish spam would be offering penis reduction...
