Ti-Jean and His Brothers
Feb. 26th, 2007 03:48 pmI've just had a pair of tickets for this show, at the Brady Arts Centre in Bethnal Green, passed on to me by my father. Anyone interested in going with me?
It's by "carnival creators" Kinetika, based on a play by Derek Walcott, and it's part of the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in the UK.
5pm, Saturday 3rd March 2007, at the Brady Arts Centre (nearest tube station is Whitechapel).
There's apparently also a fascinating exhibition on there too, and the day after that the famous Royal Bengal Tiger will be wandering around outside the Quayside Museum in Docklands, from 1:30.
Both are free events, but the first requires tickets.
