I am now officially a Londoner, living in Leytonstone - address available via the usual channels. It's a very nice house, shared with pfy (we're still looking for a third person, so anyone else who feels like moving to London, drop one or both of us a line).

This is advance notice that I shall be holding a housewarming party - I'm thinking the second weekend in March, but could be persuaded otherwise if people can't attend. If I know you and you're within - or going to be within - travelling distance (I'm 15 minutes out from Liverpool Street station on the Central Line), please do come. Bring alcohol if you drink it, bring partners, bring other interesting people if you feel like it. There will be a small amount of crash space available if you're coming a long way.

Hi. I'd just like to say that it's considered polite to tell one's housemates before holding a party. I think a housewarming gathering is a great idea, but please let me know these things in advance. Thanks.

Aside from that, I echo everything said above. If you don't feel like bringing alcohol, then please feel free to bring other drinks or nibbles. It's a non-smoking house, so don't worry about not being able to breathe.

I will post about this on my journal when the date is definitely decided.

I'm already living in London, but looking for a new place. So I'm checking out options at the moment.

There's two of us living in a three-bedroomed house (non-smoking, geek-friendly, working hot water, other nice things). When: finding someone soonish would make the landlady happy. If you want to arrange to take a look, I'm in during the day and Catherine's got my phone number.

It looks now like it'll be the third weekend technically, the 18th and breakfast/dim sum on the 19th. Since this was the sort of date I was thinking of, but had forgotten to check when the weekends actually were. I do hope you can make it still, it would be really nice to see you there.
