Plague of Mouse

(Alive, thankfully.)

So, I have as the title of this post suggests a plague of Mouse. I also have two cats in the house. Any suggestions for avoiding dead Mouse and deporting the inconvenient animal unharmed?

Keep it away from the cats? I think all you can do is find it first and trap it like you would a spider - large glass or jar over the top, slide a card underneath and take it outside, where it'll probably die of shock, but at least you tried. *hug*

My cunning plan worked! The mouse has been caught and deported, by dint of an improvised trap consisting of a carrier bag, some newspaper, and an overripe kiwi fruit.
