Aaargh.

vashti pointed me here. This strike so many chords with my attempts at claiming JSA (I had a letter of dismissal and everything!) and, more recently, sorting out Dad's housing benefit and council tax benefit. He's on a state and a private pension, total net income for the year is less than £10,500, and the hoops are being moved ever-higher and shrinking.

Something desperately needs to be done about this. I wonder what...
