Tools

I have successfully Fixed my favourite kitchen knife, by replacing the handle. It's a Vietnamese one made from a recycled car leaf spring - very good steel, holds a remarkable edge - but the handle had been getting wobblier and wobblier for quite a while. So I decided just to replace the whole thing, and got a pack of Milliput (epoxy putty) to mould a new one - as a bonus it's utterly ergonomic, since I moulded it in the grip I want to use it with. Am rather pleased.

I've also managed to make a printing block I'm happy enough with (the results from) to run a proper edition - the scan, and an explanation, is here. There are three packed away and four more drying on the line outside at the moment - good thing it's a good drying day.

That's very cool. I believe your adoring public demand photos of this shiny knife. :D
